Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise “La Fortune” Rouge 2016
Aubert de Villaine, the man at the head of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, bought the Bouzeron estate in 1971. The same methods are therefore applied: biodynamic viticulture, natural vinifications, grapes picked and sorted by hand.
The vines are young, delivering a lively and very fruity wine. Long vatting and daily treading. Aging for one year in oak barrels.
This vintage is a beautiful Pinot Noir to be consumed in the first 4 years of its life to appreciate the impressive purity of the fruit. The nose reveals notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and some spicy notes. The palate is fresh, fruity and tangy, with a delicate and suave texture. The tannins are very smooth and the finish is persistent.
100% Pinot noir
