The appellation covers 1890 hectares: we find the same aromatic palette as for Saint-Émilion, adding truffle and woody notes. On the palate, the Pomerol appellation wines show great finesse and intensity.
The very sensual texture reveals a great tannic power. Produced mainly from young vines which, after a rigorous and very strict selection at the time of blending, gives a remarkable second cru with a powerful nose, marked by notes of red fruits and cocoa, with a velvety development in the mouth and round tannins , without aggressiveness.
