LAGAVULINE 8 years old 48% Single Malt Whiskey
After the enthusiasm caused by the launch of the limited edition of Lagavulin 8 years old for the 200th anniversary of the distillery, Lagavulin has decided to make this version permanent within the range. This 8 year old was previously an iconic reference of the distillery. Although younger than its 16-year-old big brother, it offers more marked aromas of peat thanks to a titration of 48%.
TASTING NOTE
Nose: Notes of black pepper and smoke, followed by orange zest and lemon.
Palate: Light and resolutely characteristic of Lagavulin: round, smoky and warm. The smoke, more and more present, becomes dry.
Finish: Very long and smoky. An elegant expression that combines smoky aromas with a powerful taste. A beautiful intensity.
