Second wine of the historic and emblematic Château Calon Ségur, the Marquis de Calon Ségur offers a unique expression of the great terroir of Saint-Estèphe, on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region.

Developed in accordance with the philosophy that animates this prestigious Grand Cru Classé in 1855, the Marquis de Calon Ségur is a wine resulting from a rigorous selection of plots with vines aged 22 years on average. From the vine to the cellar, constant attention is provided by the technical teams masterfully orchestrated by Vincent Millet, technical director since 2006, with vinification carried out under the watchful eye of the experienced consulting oenologist Éric Boissenot. . The Marquis de Calon Ségur is aged over a period of 17 months, 30% of which in new barrels.

A great wine from Saint-Estèphe, the Marquis de Calon Ségur 2017 comes from a blend of Merlot (57%), Cabernet Sauvignon (38%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). A Saint-Estèphe with a sunny personality and a velvety roundness displaying great finesse on the palate.
