Sanctus Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 1998
First vintage for this new cru vinified in collaboration with a Chilean winemaker, Aurelio Montes. Aged for twenty months in new oak barrels, made from two thirds of Merlot and one third of Cabernet Franc, this 98 is adorned with a bright ruby color. The bouquet, still discreet, mixes cooked red fruits and good wood. The palate, balanced, offers roundness, fruit and elegant tannins and good hold. However, to wait three to four years to be able to appreciate it more fully.
