Chateau Marjosse Rouge 2016
Château Marjosse, estate of Pierre Lurton, director of the Châteaux d’Yquem and Cheval Blanc, covers 60 hectares in Entre-deux-mers. It benefits from an exceptional terroir of Asterias limestones, identical to those of the Saint-Émilion plateau.
Château Marjosse 2016 appears in the glass in a very beautiful, dark and dense red color, with black and purple reflections. The nose, very elegant and racy, expresses itself on aromas of very ripe red and black fruits, such as cherry, blackberry or blackcurrant. Upon ventilation, aromas of liquorice appear, and more toasted notes. On the palate, it develops a beautiful volume with velvety tannins. The flavors and fat last a long time on the finish, with notes of delicious candied fruit.
