Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise “La Digoine” Rouge 2017
Aubert de Villaine, the man at the head of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, bought the Bouzeron estate in 1971. The same methods are therefore applied: biodynamic viticulture, natural vinifications, grapes picked and sorted by hand.
The La Digoine cuvée is fruity, and enjoyable young. It delivers flavors of red fruits and presents a beautiful balance on the palate, with roundness and good length. You can keep for 12 to 15 years depending on the vintage and your cellar. Young, it should be served around 16°C, older around 18°C with red meats and cheeses (but avoiding soft cheeses such as camembert, brie or vacherin). Wine made from organically grown grapes.
100% Pinot noir
