Calvados Christian Drouin is above all a family story. From its origin, in the 1960s, Christian Drouin father has made a specialty of the rarest Calvados – hear the oldest. The house now offers the widest range of vintages in the profession, with 38 references ranging from 1939 to 1998. The Drouin family pays particular attention to the aging of their eaux-de-vie. It is inspired by ancient methods and traditions through the use of sherry or Port casks and also develops new maturation schemes in barrels of Banyuls, Sauternes or Muscats de Rivesaltes, for rare and original flavors. In order to preserve the signature of Calvados, its fruit, the House favors new wood barrels with a second filling or more.
