KILKERRAN HEAVILY PEATED

Kilkerran Heavily Peated is a very good peated single malt (85ppm) produced in the Glengyle distillery in Cambeltown. As you might expect, Kilkerran Heavyly Peated is a pleasantly smoky whiskey that should win over any Islay lover. Bottled at cask strength and not chill filtered, this single malt has aged in ex-Bourbon casks and ex-Sherry casks, adding a fruity and sweet character. A great whisky, in a very limited edition.

 Tasting Note

Nose: Cooked apples, embers and a puff of oats.

Palate: More orchard fruits, citrus, green olive, salted butter and cinnamon.

Finish: Fleshy malt, sea salt and honey. Long dry peat smoke.
