Aloxe Corton “Le Suchot”, his domain: Between Pernand-Vergelesses in the north, Savigny-lès-Beaune in the west and Chorey in the south, Aloxe-Corton also shines for these reds. Better known for its Corton-Charlemagne, one should not neglect the grand cru reds like Corton-Bressandes for example. The Le Suchot plot is located on the piedmont of the hill of Corton with 30-year-old Pinots Noirs. The stony and clayey soils give powerful and structured wines.
