Château Chantemerle 2015
Château Chantemerle is in the town of Bégadan, in the heart of the Médoc. The Cruchon family works their vines with the greatest care throughout the year: green work, leaf stripping, and mechanical plowing, to obtain grapes with perfect maturity.
This cru bourgeois is made up of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Its color is dark and intense garnet. The nose reveals notes of balsamic, cedar, and mocha aromas on a more fruity background. On the palate, it is still very tight with marked tannins and the same notes as on the nose.
