Château Fongaban 2016
Owned by the Taïx family since 1932, this cru is a sure bet in castillon and puguin. The vineyard is now certified organic, under the leadership of Pierre Taïx (Guadet-Plaisance, Rigaud, La Mauriane) in charge since 2009.
This blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc deploys an intense olfaction, centered on red fruits, leather and woody undertones. On the palate, we discover a smooth, supple and harmonious whole, with flavors of sour cherry and lovely aromatic persistence.
