Château Langoa Barton 2011
Hugh Barton, grandson of an Irish merchant who came to live in Bordeaux, first bought the Langoa estate (in 1821) before acquiring part of the Léoville estate. Even today, these two famous Saint-Julien wines belong to the Barton-Sartorius family.
This classified wine of Saint-Julien is fleshy, balanced and marked with a superb velvety on the palate. They develop aromas of ripe fruit, and benefit from a great aptitude for aging.
Blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 2% Petit verdot, 8% Cabernet franc.
