Château Petit-Village 2017

The 2017 Petit Village was an odd showing. It felt a little disjointed at first, the wood component not as fully subsumed into the fruit as its Pomerol peers. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, fleshy in the mouth with black pepper and leather infusing the dark berry fruit, a hint of soy on an abrupt finish.
