The blend in Petit Mouton 2015, the second wine of Château Mouton-Rothschild, this year favors 78% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.

The nose of this Pauillac is exuberant and intense, almost solar like this vintage, which is drier than hot. It reveals a perfect maturity of the fruit which extends on aromas of blackberries, toast, coffee and mocha. Roundness and elegance are found on the attack. The ripe material, a beautiful velvety tending to silky, reveals a remarkable touch of sweetness and finesse, with a very pleasant salty side. The tannic structure clearly present, but already melted, gives the wine a long and tasty finish combining floral and fruity notes.
