Les Forts de Latour 2014

The second wine from Château Latour, made from young plots outside the Enclosure, the historic heart of the vineyard reserved for great wine.

Initially centered on fresh wood, the second Latour wine opens more clearly with aeration on fruit, blackcurrant and ripe cherry in particular, embellished with a pleasant little vegetal touch. On the palate, it is fleshy, round and suave from the start, carried by fine and silky tannins, and leaves a very nice sensation of freshness and purity on the finish.
