Champagne François Bedel – L’Ame de la Terre – 2005
The Soul of the Earth 2005 from the house Françoise Bedel is a complex, vinous and refined cuvée.
Elaborated on a base of Pinot Meunier (60%), completed by 30% of Chardonnay and 10% of Pinot Noir, this cuvée was vinified in enamelled vats, but also for part of the wines, in oak barrels.
Like the rest of the range of the Françoise Bedel champagne house, L’Âme de la Terre 2005 has benefited from a long aging in the cellar, no less than 9 years, to develop its aromas and perfect its liveliness.
This cuvée is offered in an Extra Brut dosage, that is to say with a dosage of 2g / L, to give the champagne the possibility of fully expressing itself.
The L’Âme de la Terre 2005 cuvée has an abundant and creamy foam. Its color is golden yellow, slightly amber.
On the nose, we discover a vintage with notes of candied fruit and dried apricot. On the second nose, notes of sandalwood, cinnamon and orange blossom appear.
On the palate, we discover a full-bodied and full-bodied wine with great liveliness. It is a cuvée with perfect balance.
