This tea from the cultivar “Da Bai Hao” presents a nice contrast of very large silvery fluffy buds, accompanied by their first almost black leaf, a sign of great quality. After a slight withering, it was originally dried under the moonlight in the Jinggu Mountains, hence its poetic name.
At first sight it is the smoked taste that predominates, while remaining soft and subtle on the palate. The liqueur develops notes of ripe peach in the second and third infusions, enriched with a floral bouquet. Its unique and sweet flavor is reminiscent of the refinement of a very good champagne. Original and rare, this white tea is delicately sweet and refreshing.
