This green tea comes from Mount Dongting, on the shores of Taihu Lake, in the south of Jiangsu Province. The tea trees are planted on the mountainsides, at an altitude of some 1000 meters. The dry leaf radiates a deep green sprinkled with silvery down, and gives off powerful vegetal notes. The liquor is thick and develops aromas of cooked vegetables, green beans and zucchini. Marine notes with a hint of bitterness are also present. The length in the mouth is very good. The infusion offers a plant-based and powerful cup, to start the day gently.
