The Phoenix tea (Feng Huang Dan Cong) is one of the rarest Chinese teas, is the top of the wulong basket. It comes from tea plants cut into very particular trees, located in Guangdong, on the Feng Huang mountains. There are almost 80 different cultivars, each of which produces a tea with a specific taste. This “Mi Lan Xiang” (蜜 兰香) Dan Cong literally means “honeyed orchid scent”, a high class that reserves intense taste emotions. Its golden yellow liquor is lively and mineral, evoking floral, roasted, spicy and fruity notes. The palate is very expressive and sophisticated, with a pleasantly astringent finish. We highly recommend the Gong fu cha infusion (multiple infusions) to take advantage of its intoxicating aromatic complexity.
