Phenix tea (Feng Huang Dan Cong) is one of the rarest Chinese teas, is the top of the wulong basket. It comes from special tree-cut tea plants located in Guangdong on the Feng Huang Mountains. There are nearly 80 different cultivars, each of them giving a tea with a specific taste.
This “Mi Lan Xiang” (蜜 兰香) Dan Cong literally means “honeyed orchid scent”, a great class that reserves intense taste emotions. Its golden yellow liquor is lively and mineral, evoking floral notes, roasted, spicy and fruity cereals. The palate is very expressive and sophisticated, with a pleasantly astringent finish.
We strongly recommend the infusion in Gongfucha (multiple infusions) to enjoy its intoxicating aromatic complexity.
